Registering to Vote
Legal
As of January 1, 2006, all municipalities in Wisconsin require voter registration prior to a person being allowed to vote. In Wisconsin there are three convenient ways to register:

By Mail
Download the Application for Voter Registration, complete the highlighted fields (yellow) and mail it into the Village Clerk's Office along with acceptable proof of residence:

Caroline Fochs
Deputy Clerk
4128 Hubertus Rd.
Hubertus, WI 53033

In-Person
Register at Village Hall by 5:00 pm on the Friday before the next scheduled election.

At the Polling Place On Election Day
If you wish to register to vote at your polling place, you must bring proof that you reside at your present location. For purposes of voter registration, acceptable forms of proof of residence must include:
  • A current and complete name, including both the given and family name; and
  • A current and complete residential address, including a numbered street address, if any, and the name of a municipality
  • See page 2 of the Voter Registration Form for a list of acceptable forms for proof of residence

More Information
Please visit the Government Accountability Board's (GAB) webpage for more detailed information on how to register to vote.

Should you have additional questions, please contact the village's deputy clerk at (262) 628-2260 extension 111 or visit Village Hall during our normal business hours for hard copies of the necessary forms.
