There are many ways you can get involved in your local government. Serving on a village board or commission is a wonderful way to stay engaged in your community while serving its citizens. If you may be interested contact the Village Administrator or fill out an application (PDF) today.
As such, the Village of Richfield has a variety of boards and commissions offering an excellent opportunity for individuals to volunteer their services on significant matters. Boards and commissions may be fiduciary, regulatory, judiciary, policy-setting and/or advisory; and in all cases, members' contributions are invaluable to village staff, the village president and the Board of Trustees.
The Village of Richfield accepts applications for various Boards and Commissions each year. This is your opportunity to get involved in the community. Appointments are generally made at April and May Village Board meetings, annually. When available, applications are due to the Clerk's Office by 4:00 pm on the second Friday during the month of April.
