Human Society

The Village of Richfield utilizes the services of the Washington County Humane Society (WCHS) for its animal control needs. WCHS’ mission is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty, to provide care for animals afflicted by neglect and abandonment, and to enhance the lives of animals and people through education, adoption, and compassion.

Hunting Regulations

Village Code, Chapter 275 "Peace and Good Order" regulates hunting within the boarders of the Village of Richfield. Article II "Firearms" states "It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a rimfire rifle larger than .22 caliber or any center-fire rifle .22 caliber or larger anywhere within the boundaries of the Village."
